I agree about the decks each having their own vibes. I have 4 myself(and have been looking around for another as well as working on my own off and on). I have three basic Wyatt decks, one was the first deck I got and is like a nice well loved shirt or pair of shoes for me. It's the deck I'm most comfortable with. The other my aunt gave me(along with a ton of books on different Wiccan things)and it always seems off when I use. It feels wrong but I keep it around for when someone I don't really want near my 3 main decks wont take no for an answer when it comes to readings. The third is the one I use most since it is very portable compared to the other decks. It's a small deck that is easy to shuffle and fits in my pocket. And I have a sensual wiccan deck(I thought it was sensational when I got it but what a shock when I opened it). This deck is very emotional to me even though I use all my decks(except my aunts old deck) for the deep emotional questions this is the deck I use most for it. I've never tired to use my decks to find lost things or anything like that but that is amazing. I was going to take my deck on a host hunt once but decided that was a door I wasn't really comfortable playing with. I did take my pendulums though. I have 2 of those-a crystal one that is very reactive and my steel one that just drains me to use but was insanely reactive when we took it out. What other forms of divination have you dealt with?
I've very lucky in that despite being very christian and disagreeing with many of my beliefs my best friend has no problem sitting down and talking about it with me for hours on end. I would love to discuss the spiritual realm, swap stories, readings, ect. Should I pm you?

I agree about the decks each having their own vibes. I have 4 myself(and have been looking around for another as well as working on my own off and on). That is so cool, you've been working on creating you own? That's awesome! I have thought about it on and off, creating my own deck, I've never started officially though. ...one was the first deck I got and is like a nice well loved shirt or pair of shoes for me. It's the deck I'm most comfortable with. That's how I am with my Rider-Waite deck, I always go back to that deck, almost 100% of the time, even when I started with another for a reading. It is an old, trusted friend of mine. I know where you're coming from, definitely. And I have a sensual wiccan deck(I thought it was sensational when I got it but what a shock when I opened it). LOL! Surprise! Haha, but that's still really great, because like you mentioned, for you that deck is has a lot of emotional energy coursing through it. The images in some decks are just...breathtaking. I love going through different decks and looking at the varying art, however, it's funny because even some of the most beautiful decks, I just can't read as fluently as others; it has nothing to do with the art either or I should say the style, it is just simply the feeling I get from them, they don't speak to me as well as others. I was going to take my deck on a host hunt once but decided that was a door I wasn't really comfortable playing with. I'm with you there on not being comfortable playing with some things. The curiosity is definitely there, however, I feel as though I should know better than to dabble with things that are not meant to be dabbled with and stop myself. What other forms of divination have you dealt with? I have used oracle cards, the I-Ching, tried runes only once (however it was only once so I wouldn't consider that truly experiencing them, I would like to go back to them though), but I always go back to Tarot cards, I am very drawn to that type of divination. I've very lucky in that despite being very christian and disagreeing with many of my beliefs my best friend has no problem sitting down and talking about it with me for hours on end. I would love to discuss the spiritual realm, swap stories, readings, ect. Should I pm you? Oh, yeah, you definitely are very fortunate there. See, my boyfriend listens and will have conversations and such with me, however, he gets a little uncomfortable when we enter certain territory of spiritual talk (mainly with rituals and such), and I never want to push him obviously. He is not religious, and enjoys the things I am into, which I am very thankful for. He'll come around to where he wants to be in time. That's the best way. I would love for you to PM me!
