 "Well, hey there!" Azazel turns his full attention to Rowena. I have never seen such a beautiful girl...err, well, of course Jezzie is beautiful, but she's so much like a friend to me than a girlfriend....Azazel puffs his chest out a bit. "I'm Azazel, and you...Rowena you said? Beautiful name for a beautiful girl..." Azazel looks down momentarily bashfully. Azazel turns to Ferris now with a cheeky grin, "It looks like you're now outnumbered bud!" |

"Awe you're so sweet." She smiled shyly and looks at the ground digging her paw in a bit. He's kind of cute she thinks to herself. Not like any of the boys back at Mom's. "You have a very interesting name! I like the sound of it." She directed at Azazel. She looks at Farris curiously. "I haven't met many cats before, Mom keeps them in a separate profile from us dogs. Where do you guys come from? I lived at home all my life until now. Mom finally said i'm grown up enough to see the world on my own so here I am. What are you guys doing out here?"

"Heh, I only speak the truth." Azazel smiled at Rowena. "Thanks, my mom tends to name all of my brothers and sisters, well, at least adopted brothers and sisters, interesting names." Interesting isn't the word for it...what's a name like Zameeze...huh, if I ever invite Rowena over to my house, I'd have to introduce her to everyone...catz and all. Eh, I'll worry about it when the time comes. Azazel ends his little internal reverie and gazes into Rowena's eyes with a sinister stare, "Ferris here tells me that the dogz at his place are nothing but maids and servants...who'da believe that?!" Azazel laughs and quickly side steps away from Ferris anticipating a nip or a swat.

"wow, if they all have as interesting names as yours she must be a very creative person! My mom usually leaves us with the names we come with. You're joking about Farris right? Oh dear..." Maybe this is why mom has the cats in separate profiles she thinks to herself. She shifts a step closer to Azazel being a tad nervous around Farris with this new information. "Are they hired or captured?" Oh gosh, I hope he doesn't try to enslave me she thinks nervously to herself. Quick change the subject, maybe if he's not thinking of slaves he won't try to enslave me! She frantically try's to come up with a new question for the two. "Uhhh.... OH Azazel how many brothers and sisters do you have? I have lots in my profile but mom says she as lots more that I haven't even met yet."

Azazel chuckles a bit, "Well, not all of my brothers and sisters have a name a unique as mine, I mean, there is Flurry, and Swampy, oh and I can't forget Milo...but uh, I'm not...uh...sure exactly if the servants and maids are hired or captured..." Azazel glances over at Ferris who is seemingly relaxing in his own thoughts at the moment. Azazel looks back over at Rowena, "But um, how many brothers and sisters do I have? Let me see, there's Jezzie, Flurry, Swampy, Vivea, Zameeze, Dehli, Bruxton, Nibble, Murphy, Powder, Bee...uh, hehehe, hold on..." Azazel closes his eyes in concentration. Should I even tell her exactly how many family members live with me?! She'll never want to come over! "Uh, heh, well, um, yeah, I have40memberstomyfamilybesidemyself." Azazel mumbles hoping Rowena may hear another number other than 40, like 4 or 2...or 1... "But uh! Well, we all get along...er, for the most part! Mom makes us all spend time together, with a few exceptions who only like certain family members..." Azazel looks at the ground while mumbling, "Whatever the case, we all love each other no matter our differences..."

"Wow 40? That must be awesome! It would be so much fun to have so many people in the family. I have 18 siblings in my profile but Mom says she has LOTS more in other places in the house." Rowena looks at Farris. Well at least he doesn't seem angry right now although perhaps he is daydreaming. Maybe he WON'T try to capture me after all. She falls out of her thoughts and continues to talk. "I think it's really sweet you all love each other in such a big family. So are you from this town? I'm traveling so I've never been here before. Is there any other interesting places around?" Rowena continues to think to herself while Azazel responds. Hmm I think I like this guy! He seems like he could be a great help for me to see the sites around here and he seems really nice......cute too. she blushes a little at her thoughts as she's never really met a guy back home that she didn't think of as a brother so this is a bit new for her. Although I'm not too sure about Farris here.... Well maybe once he gets to talking he'll turn out to be an okay guy.... I hope. She's still tad nervous around him so she shifts a bit awkwardly. Oh god this shifting is probably making me look stupid. Stand still darn it! She berates herself internally. She wants to make a good impression on Azazel so he likes her and on Farris so he does't try to capture her.

 Jezzie walks over to Ferris, Azazel, and Rowena quietly and just stares for a few moments unenthused while Azazel bounces around excitedly continuing his conversation with Rowena. She lifts her lip a bit toward Ferris and glances back at Azazel waiting for him to notice she is standing there. After another two minutes of simply staring, Jezzie says louder than needed, "Hey everyone, you two are waaaay into this conversation. I've only been standing here for the past six minutes unnoticed... Azazel!" Jezzie stares at Azazel intently, narrowing her eyes. "Heh, anyway, um, hello there!" Jezzie bows her head to Rowena and Ferris. "I'm Jezzie, and you two are...?" Jezzie glances back and forth from Rowena to Ferris. |

"OH Hi! My name is Rowena. I just met these two here." Rowena smiles a bit nervously. She has noticed the tension between Jezzie and Azazel and feels a bit uncomfortable. Uhoh maybe I read those signals wrong.... this could get me into trouble around here. She takes a small step away from Azazel in her uncertainty. I'll just see how he responds she decides.

Jezzie looks Rowena up and down. Ugggh, she has to be pretty too. "Rowena, nice to meet you! Heh, I hope Azazel here hasn't been causing you any trouble. He can get too exciting for his own good, can't you Azazel?" Jezzie glares at Azazel. Azazel smiles ar Rowena, embarrased by Jezzie's little jealous fit.
Azazel speaks up, "Rowena, she didn't give me the chance to introduce her befo..."
Jezzie cuts Azazel off sharply, "The CHANCE, um, was I the one who was entranced into another girl's eyes?!"
Azazel sighs deeply and swings his head from side to side. "Eh, hey Jezz...can you maybe, relax?"
Jezzie looks at Azazel and whips her head away from both he and Rowena. Jezzie trots off, emphasizing the pounding she puts into each paw step. Azazel looks at the ground both embarrased and hurt. "I...I'm sorry, Rowena. I don't know what her problem was..."

Rowena has her eye's wide open, she's shocked by the outburst. Oh no I really didn't mean to cause any fighting. She gives a small whimper. She doesn't do very well with conflict. "Uhh is she... is she your girlfriend? I really didn't mean to upset her I.. I didn't know about her.. should someone go talk to her or something?" Rowenas tail droops and her ears flick back. She's visibly upset by this encounter. Maybe this was why Mom said I should try to be extra careful around petz I don't know. She looks to Azazel for guidance as she really doesn't know what to do now. I really hope he knows how to fix this, I don't want to make an enemy my first day here.

"Hey..." Azazel nudges Rowena's head back up with his snout. "Don't worry about that. No, she's not my girlfriend." Azazel sighs. "See, Jezzie, well, I wanted to be with her a while back and she is the one that told me when I asked her out to eat on a date, 'Oh no, Azazel, I like you...but, not like that.'" Azazel lets a large amount of air out of his nose, making the grass flutter beneath him and Rowena. "I respected her feelings and agreed just to be friends, and you know? I'm sure glad I did just that." Azazel looks into Rowena's eyes, "It's funny how things work out, isn't it?"

Rowena lifts her head up a bit. "Really?" Rowena can't help but be a little relieved. It really can't be my fault she got upset. I knew Azazel wouldn't be like that to girls. He just seems too nice. She lays on the grass resting her head on her paws. She smiles a little bit. But can't help but feel concern for Jazzie, she just has a nurturing personality. "I'm glad that wasn't my fault and i'm glad things did work out they way they have." She smiles again so he knows there's no bad feelings with her anymore. "But maybe we SHOULD check on her. She seemed awful upset and I feel bad that she was so badly upset by us. Even if it wasn't our fault. Or you should check on her? I don't know that she'll want to see me right now." She looks a bit concerned and tilts her head. "Does she do this a lot?"

"Nah, it's not your fault, don't feel like that at all...eh, she doesn't make herself known for outbursts like that, but this isn't the first time she's been a little snippy." Azazel glances behind him to see if Jezzie is around. She's no where in sight. Azazel looks back at Rowena, "Look, I promise, foretruly, that I will talk to her when I go home; for now...you and me, let's walk around a bit...tell me about yourself. Where are you from?" Azazel tries to make light of the situation by starting to trot down the park's path in his chipper way, enticing Rowena to follow. "Come on you!" Azazel calls over his shoulder, "A pretty gal like you doesn't want to be here alone at night. Everyone in Lanceton would want to snatch you up!"

Rowena follows then pauses. Farris seems to have fallen asleep or something. She looks back at him and decides nobody wants to mess with that cat so she leaves him to sleep where he is. She runs to catch up with Azazel. "Hey, wait up! I'm glad you're going to talk to her later. I think it's sweet that you'll make sure she's okay." Rowena smiles at Azazel happily, comforted by his comments about Jezzie and the situation. "Well i'm from the next town over, I've lived with Mom my whole life. That's why I came here, to explore and see new things. See new people..... boys that are different from the ones at home." She smirks a little bit now looking down at the ground. "So what is there to do in Lanceton? This is the first place I've found so far." She continues to follow where he leads her.

"Well, my lady!" Azazel glances over at Rowena with a giant smile. "There isn't all that much to do in Lanceton beside well...walk and talk honestly. It is too cold to be swimming at the beach, and uh, I don't know if Trinkets and Tronkits is the place for such a lady as yourself." Azazel looks down the road in the direction of the old beaten down building. "Yeah, let's go the other way, you definitely don't want to be walking past Merp's place after nightfall." If only she knew even a quarter of what goes on in that place. Azazel hides the worry that entered his face. His nose twitches sporadically a few times before changing the subject. "Speaking of doing things, what do you say one day soon you and I go to Bruntin...I'll show you around the city...maybe we'll make a few new friends...have a few doggatinis at the Rusty Paw...my treat to dinner...?" Azazel stops walking anf gazes into Rowena's eyes. "What do you say?"
