 I could just be imagining it... did I really just create a breed through breeding?!?!?! Do they look like Wire haired Dachshunds? I was so excited when I got these two! I never was totally into the breeding maniac part of petz, but I'm kind of liking it. xD What do you think? ^^ |

Oooh, these guys are amazing! I really love AD1, his eyes are gorgeous! They do look like wired haired dachies though, great job.  |

Yeah, I'm with you on liking AD2's body more; that's definitely what I am going to be aiming for. The eye lids can be worked with (I like selfies myself as well), it will be a challenge getting the body types to breed true though. I will definitely PM you when I make more advances and for advice. I'll also post more of my findings here. ^^

 Well, here is group 1 of 2. In this group, I personally picked Lotia to be the best of the group, followed behind by Fay. Now, Fay actually has more of the features I am looking for, in regards to the smaller feet and eyes, however, Lotia has a unique coat color, the longer body, and a different type of face. Lotia's face is more Scottie than Dachshund definitely, but the boxy look kind of looks good....I do think though that the smaller head like Fay's will be best. Any input on that? I'm kind of undecided at the moment. Then, group 2...  The best out of this group was by FAR Caden in my opinion; he has got the desired long body of Lotia in the previous group, and all of the small features (INCLUDING the feet)...then Tula has a great body and feet, but she has the boxy face again (Scottie derived). After seeing Caden, I'm really leaning toward the smaller face rather than the boxy, but I would love input! So, to recap, what I've been striving for: [x] Basically Caden (lol) [x] Small feet [x] Smaller eyes than the Scotties [x] Long bodies [x] Hopefully color varieties, which Lotia provided, but her feet and head were off the mark for me a bit. I will still use her for color variances though. |

Hmm, in group one I like Lotia for her body although i prefer the smaller face for these guys, Caden is absolutely perfect! I think if you aim for that with colour variances it would be perfect! Hmm I also think I prefer the solid black to the black with dusty on the legs. But that' just a personal preference of solid colours.  This is looking awesome! |

Thanks so much! I know, that's what I was thinking with Lotia's colors, I love her coat. Caden is beautiful though, I agree - he will definitely be the main stud of the program at the moment! I think I like the solid colors as well, we'll have to get some solid browns as well! Oooo, and maybe I could hex in some albinos?

Thanks, CatCreature! ^__^ I really don't know where Lotia's colors came from, there is a hexed color (the gray stockings) that I did a while back before I started breeding these pups, but never her colors! That is very odd, isn't it? I didn't think of it until you just mentioned that! |

Well, the thing is...if you hexed those grey markings on a breedfile, say the Scottie for example, and left it in your game? That's a trait that will pass down, since it's in the original breedfile now.
I wondered if that happened. Some people can be particular about petz they adopt, and don't like hexed things in them like that. Since you were considering adopting some out in the future, and are working carefully on this line, I thought I should let you know.
PERSONALLY I don't mind but I've seen people who didn't like that stuff. xD

Ahh! I see!! Aww, I loved the color variance...hmm, I'll just be sure to mention that the only thing hexed is the color when I adopt them out! Thank you for pointing that out though, I wouldn't want anyone upset! ^^;
This is the first breed I ever created myself, it's so much fun! I wanted to hex in albino colors as well. o.o <3
