Here's two of my shaded drawings that I actually have pictures off. YES they are VERY random, they were for school. The first was surrealism and the second was personification (kind of) lol. This is halfway through my surrealism drawing. This is it finished. That sky was a PAIN IN THE BUTT! And here's my personification monster.

Oh wow! I love them both, the second is adorable! Your first, the surrealism is so cool though, that's my favorite! You draw really well! Do you major in art?

Thank you so much! I usually don't post stuff because I'm afraid of what people will say so you have no idea how much that means to me. <3 I don't actually haha, these are just high school art projects.

Wow those are amazing! Your shading is very smooth, which I always find to be a pain when using pencils, so great job with that! I adore the use of space in the surrealism picture. The depth is also very good and reminds me of a dream almost(surrealism usually does but that's besides the point). Anyways great job!

Thank you so much! This is unrelated but that apple was the worst thing in my life. I like how it turned out in the end but if you look at the first picture WOW lmao. That thing was tough haha.

Round-ish objects seem to be the hardest thing in the world to draw. I hated having to draw them in my high school art classes and all my art major friends hate them now. I think once you got the highlights going on the apple it pulled it out. The only problem I see in the first picture is that it was flat against the other objects.

I think once you got the highlights going on the apple it pulled it out. The only problem I see in the first picture is that it was flat against the other objects. Yah exactly, I had to find the light and then try and round out the sides to get the perfect balance of darkness on the right to lightness on the left of the middle. But once I have everything else shaded it kind of just came together and I was able to fix it up. Also, thank you Icciotto! You're too kind.

I agree with Iccitto, you should post more. You have really great talent. The hardest thing for many people to do is create interesting positive and negative space which in the first one you do an amazing job with.

Oh thank you! I did one that was just a road (The same background in this one lol) but that was just a drawing of an actual thing, not something I came up with. I usually give away my art to be honest haha so I don't have much of my OWN stuff. But as I make more I'll definitely share! Thanks guys.
