I just converted my one foster pup, Dean, to P4 so she can be adopted out to people without P5, and I never knew how easy it was? I literally takes like 45 seconds to a minute! That is so amazing! I had heard that coloring and such won't pass down (which makes sense), but I also heard personality is changed. Now, this could be true, but Dean is acting 100% as she always did. She still does her cute little quirky things I knew her to...no difference it seems. Could this be?

Wow. This is news to me. I've fallen behind on what's possible these days. I hardly ever dabble in p5 anymore at all. Nifty!

Yes! I was really pleased with the results. I rarely (every now and again) will get into a breeding project of sorts, so colors passing down are not of the most importance to me, but personality is. It seems as though Dean retained her personality just fine! She's literally the same pup (of course without the passable colors/physical traits). It is all only a matter of copying and pasting both the adult and child LNZ from the P5 pet to the P4 pet (a pet you adopt that has a breed similar or the same as the pet you are converting) and then there he/or she is! I was really impressed!

Ah yes. *shakes brain* I do remember touching on that years back.
I rarely use p5 at all anymore, mainly because what I create, I want all to be able to use in at least versions 3, 4 and 5. I do like the game though for it's differences from the others. I just seem to play in it less.

This would be very interesting to see actually. I'd love to know if it worked like this.
