I would like some input from anyone who would like (may be multiple people, in fact, the more the merrier!) for an article I was going to put up soon. It is regarding petz and how much you interact with them. Please vote as well as reply! Any support is so very welcome!
Thoughts
[x] Do you naturally raise your petz? [x] Do you treat your petz as if they are real? (Within reason obviously) [x] Do you actually play with each individual pet or let 'em all run wild and that is playtime for them? [x] Thoughts on letting your pet choose its future? [Ex. if a pet hates posing, are you going to have that pet pose come heck or high water, or are you going to enter funny/cute/sports competitions if that is more your petz' forte?] [x] Any other thoughts welcome!

Due to the sheer NUMBER of petz I have...while I'd LIKE to, I obviously can't see every pet every day. But their neglect doesn't raise when I can't see them.
I do really love my petz though. I come on to check on my daily gang, which varies constantly though certain senti-mental petz rarely if ever leave that profile, every single day. While I do let them run around while I do other things, I do stop to play along with them at times too. I usually let whoever wants to come out, come out to play on their own. If I find petz who are friends, I let them play together often.
I naturally raise some petz, but that's moved to P3 only, for some reason I don't entirely understand. xD P4 is like where I go to just hang out with my petz, P3 seems to be naturally-raising camp or something.
While I don't use the mic, I do talk to my petz often. xDD I don't let enemies stay out together because one is always scared or getting beat up, and I hate that. I don't let their hunger get too low. If I ever drop them by mistake (usually trotters) I'm always petting them and saying sorry. xD I never delete any petz either. In those senses and probably some more I'm not thinking of, I do treat them as real.
My petz do pretty much run their life. They're all so unique, I like seeing the choices they make, and watch them become their own pet, you know? If a pet doesn't want to do something, we'll find something they like better to do. There's plenty of different ways to have fun with them.
That's a bit about how my petz life is, if it's any help. xD

I literally lol'ed when you said P3 is "naturally-raising camp", bahahaha! Love that. <3 I don't use the mic either, but I talk to them too (isn't that funny how we feel the need to do that?), and my goodness, if I drop them I feel so bad too! ^.^ I'm with you on never deleting as well. If I ever have accidental litters, I either keep them or adopt them out. I think it is amazing as well how each pet really does have a unique personality. I have this idea I'm implementing starting today, the "Petz-a-day" system where although everyone will be able to come out and play like normal and get love, however, I circulate as to who the "Petz of the day" is. This would just go in order of everyone I have. So, say Azazel (one of my Scottie babies) was the petz of the day, he would be the main focus and get extra training, maybe I'd make him some special toyz in Tinker just for him, enter him in competitions, show him off, and really get to know him. It would be cyclical in nature, so every petz would get their turns to be petz of the day again. Like I said, this wouldn't mean the others don't get attention and love, it just is a way to get to know each pet intimately. (ʘ‿ʘ)

I pretty much treat mine like their real, I really love the little guys! I can't play with each one everyday but I make sure they all get love. I'll often have them out in groups where they all like each other and then go through and play with them each one by one as I can. But I never let their neglect grow or them get hungry. I also don't delete, I will adopt out ones who don't fit into my family but I don't delete. So really i'm a lot like catcreature XD I don't really show petz so they don't do that but I do let them chose a lot for themselves, they chose their food, the toys they play with, what they wear. They're very independent but they're all SO different and some always chose the same things, some never do. It's really interesting to watch their personality's develop as well. Hope that helps a bit. XD

Haha, well Petz are SO life-like (and that was the intention of the people who made the game...I'd say they did a great job!) that I can't help but talk to them, love them and feel for them. Just now, I had one dog staring at my closed carrying case. I opened it for her, and she stared at the box of Scooby Snacks in there, so I pulled one out and gave it to her to eat out of my cursor...and it crashed the game. And I was all DDDD8 and literally saying aloud "Nooooooo!! She didn't get to eat her treat!!" and I started up the game again and tried again, and it worked...I dunno what the issue was, but whatever. xDD So long as she got the treat in the end, LOL.
Yeah xD Accidental litters always get adopted out or kept. If there's any who I think the "general public" won't want, I just keep them. I think all bred petz are beautiful in their own way, and I love them all...part of my problem. xDDD And they all deserve a chance.
Your idea sounds cool! I had an idea a little something like that a while back...since I always seem to showoff my NEW petz, I started wondering...what about all the others I've had who people don't even KNOW about? I thought it might be fun to pick a pet from my massive gang at random, and make them their own showoff graphic to randomly appear in my next showoffs. I've yet to do this, since my showoffs are always due to have a massive number of graphics as it is...but I'm still meaning to do that.
NewIndnFire, I also don't really show my petz...I think fun, random types of shows could be fun, but the regular posing ones seem frustrating. If I ever try to pose my petz for those for fun, I find myself getting annoyed...then feeling bad because the pet doesn't know what I want, it's not their fault you know? xD So I figured I don't have the interest level or patience to deal with shows. Apparently my petz and I just do playing best. xDD

As much as I love messing with their genetics, I still take care of them and feel as if they were real.
