Azazel awoke the next morning and saw the note Rowena left for him. What is this about? Azazel nearly slaps chests with Jezzie as he is heading out the door. "Where ya goin' stud?" Jezzie looks at Azazel with the largest puppy eyes she could muster. Azazel looks at her and sputters spit through his lips making a 'you're crazy' type of noise. Jezzie looks offended, "What!? Zazel..." Jezzie whines, "Are you going to her house? She was here last night dressed like she was going to some costume party at like 3 in the morning..." Azazel snaps at her, "WHAT?! You KNEW SHE WAS HERE?! AND DIDN'T TELL ME?!?!" Jezzie rolls her eyes..."Azazel, please we both know this is just a fling with you, you never keep a girl for more than a few months...haha, months, weeks if they're lucky!" Azazel ignores Jezzie as he runs as fast as his legs will carry him to Rowena's house. He catches his breath as he trots slowing down up to Rowena's door. I wonder what Jezzie told her...Oh great, this is just brilliant...Azazel knocks on Rowena's door.

Rowena opens the door cautiously, once she see's it's Azazel she tugs him in and looks out to see if anyone followed him. She slams the door and looks to Azazel. She gives him a hug. "Oh thank god, you're safe." She looks a little frantic and says "follow me." She leads him to her bedroom and shuts the door quietly so nobody will hear her. "I was so worried. I have a lot to tell you Azazel. But first... has anyone contacted you?"

Azazel gives Rowena a worried expression, "No, no one has contacted me. APPARENTLY Jezzie knew you were by last night and didn't wake me up, ugh, she flipped on me this morning too..."

"Yah, I try'd to wake you up but Jezzie came out first and sent me away." She frowns. "I don't know why she hates me so much. But anyways, that is not important right now." She looks worried again. "Last night someone broke into my house...." She tells him the whole story of last night. "Azazel I'm so worried for you. I'm not going to leave you though, I don't think I could forget you at this point." She gives him a tiny smile. "But I don't know what to do to protect you." She whimpers a bit. Azazel's heart breaks seeing Rowena cry; "Hey, Rowena, don't cry..." he nudges her snout with his and sneaks in a small kiss. How do I put this lightly? Azazel shakes his head slowly from side to side. "I...I don't know where to start Rowena...I mean, these past few days have been heavenly, just perfect and I don't want to ruin anything we have." Azazel takes Rowena's paw in his own, smoothing the plush fur on her toes. "I'll be straight up to start with this at least...I have no idea as to who this guy is...why he is coming after me...eh, maybe I owe you a bit of an explanation, but I can promise you as well, my knowledge is limited on that too..."

She sniffles a bit as her tears slow down. "Oh, Azazel, I don't know what to do. Maybe we should tell someone. I mean maybe someone can help us." She slips into his arms nuzzling her head into his chest. "You know you can tell me anything right? I won't judge you for it. Is there nothing that could explain this? Maybe if we knew who he was we could protect ourselves better." She continues to breathe against him still shaking a bit form her previous tears.

Azazel continues to hold Rowena in his arms, secure to his body. "I don't exactly know what to do either..." he rests his head a top of Rowena's for a moment. "Well, like I said, the only type of explanation I have is a pathetically short one," he sighs deeply, "all I honestly know is that a long time ago, back when Behla was a puppy and I had taken her in, someone had broken into my house and I was brutally beaten and hospitalized with loss of memory from anything prior to that moment...I wouldn't even know that if Behla and the hospital staff didn't tell me, I'd have no idea as to why I was even in the hospital to this day if no one told me...so sadly, in a sense, a good portion of my life is lived vicariously through others..."

Rowena Gasps at the sad story. "Azazel I had no idea." She wraps her arms around him tighter, as if she never wants to let him go again. "I'm so sorry." She whispers. "You know, maybe this guy is someone from before you lost your memory? Maybe we can ask some people who have known you since before then if they know who might have something to do with it? We'd have to be careful though. That guy.... he looked merciless. Like he would do anything to anyone to get to you." She bites her lip in worry. "Nothing can happen to you. I don't think I'd be able to handle it." She sniffles again.

Azazel sighs deeply into Rowena's plush fur. "Nothing is going to happen to me, I promise you that." He continues, "I really don't know who would know much beside Jezzie honestly. I've been with her since I was a tiny pup, but as of late she has just been so irrational toward me, and apparently you...which I am so sorry about." Azazel blushes a bit, and puts his head lower to the ground to try and hide his cheeks from Rowena.

Rowena touches his chin with her paw pushing it up. She gives him a kiss on the cheek. "It's not your fault." She smiles. "I'm sure she'll get over it eventually. She just has to adjust, She's used to her being the only girl in your life. We must have shaken things up a bit for her. But she'll adjust, i'm sure." She snuggles into his arms again. She sighs again, remembering why she brought him here. "What are we going to do about this guy now then?"

Azazel smiles weakly at Rowena. "Thank you, it means so much to have you in my life." Azazel closes his eyes momentarily deep in thought it seems. After a few minutes of silence he resigns to somberly mentioning how he will have to go talk with Jezzie. "I think you should come with me, Rowena...I know it is uncomfortable around her, but like you said, she has to get over it, and we have to find out who this guy is." Azazel gets up slowly, "If we are ever going to find out even a clue, Jezz is the only one I know who will remember."

Rowena gives a small sigh but replies. "Alright Azazel, I'll come with you. Should we head out right away?" She begins to grab her back and shoes. "I'm ready when you are, I suppose it's best to just go without procrastinating right?" She looks to Azazel, she looks slightly worried and contemplative as she waits.
